Scrolling Is Evil / Tomato Potato
Mealime posted on mealime.com/closing that the app will be discontinued as of October 21, 2026. The notice says paid subscriptions are winding down, Pro recipes and features are open to all Mealime users until then, and the Mealime recipes continue in Meals Hub, a free section inside Albertsons Companies grocery store apps (tap More, then Meals Hub).
Meals Hub keeps the Mealime recipes and its own planning and shopping tools. If you also want your own copy of the recipes you cook most, you can keep them in Tomato Potato before October 21.
The first time you use a photo, the app asks before anything is sent. Photos go to xAI to read the recipe, and our server keeps nothing. Pasted text does not need that step. Copies you make are for your own cooking; the recipes belong to their authors.
Put saved recipes on days in Plan, or tap Fill these days. Shop these days builds one grocery list with shared ingredients added together and grouped by aisle. You can check items off in the store, share the list as text, or send it to a Kroger or King Soopers cart. See a worked three-dinner plan.
Tomato Potato is free to download. Free includes three saved imports and one Kroger or King Soopers cart. The plan, the list and store searches stay free. A subscription removes both limits for $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year in the US, and the yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Recipes stay on your phone.
Checked 2026-10-06 against the Mealime notice. Mealime and Meals Hub are names of their owners; Tomato Potato is not affiliated with them.
