How to send a recipe grocery list to a Kroger or King Soopers cart

Tomato Potato can take the grocery list it built from your recipes and put matching products in your Kroger or King Soopers cart. You check every match first, and you check out with the store as usual.

Steps

  1. Build the list in Shop (see how to turn recipes into one list).
  2. Tap Get groceries and pick Kroger or King Soopers.
  3. Enter the 5-digit ZIP for your store. The first send picks a store near that ZIP, and later sends use the same store. Tomato Potato looks for a matching product for each item; with Prefer cheapest at Kroger on (the default, in Settings), it takes the lower-priced product among close matches.
  4. Check the list. Uncheck anything that looks wrong, tap a product name to pick another, or tap Kitchen on a line you already have so it stays out of this order.
  5. Sign in on Kroger's own page when asked. Tomato Potato never sees your Kroger password.
  6. The checked items go into your cart as a pickup order. Open the Kroger or King Soopers app or website to check out.
