Updated 2026-09-25. These terms cover the Threshold app from Scrolling Is Evil LLC.

What the app is

Threshold gives education and a structured practice plan, with a rule for when to end each practice, for a dog that lunges or has scary walks. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure a dog. It is not a substitute for a veterinarian or a certified behavior professional, it tells you when to see one, and it makes no promise about how your dog will change. You decide whether each practice is safe to run with your dog, and you stay responsible for your dog and for following local leash and bite-reporting rules.

Your judgment

You choose the distance, when to add distance, and when to end a session. Keep your dog on a secure leash and follow local leash laws. If your dog has bitten someone, or you feel unsafe, stop and get help from a qualified trainer or a veterinarian.

Free week and paid plans

Week 1 is free with no purchase. A paid plan, billed monthly or yearly, opens weeks 2 to 8 and ongoing practice after week 8. The price for your country shows in the app and in the App Store or Google Play before you confirm.

• Your Apple ID or Google account is charged when you confirm, or when a free trial ends if the plan has one.
• A plan renews automatically at the same price for the same length of time unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. The store charges the renewal in the 24 hours before the period ends.
• If a plan has a free trial and you buy a plan before the trial ends, the rest of the trial ends at purchase.
• You manage and cancel plans in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app or its local data does not cancel a plan.
• Refunds follow the rules of the store you paid through.

Your data

Your practice data stays on your phone. The privacy page lists what the app stores and what leaves the phone.

Apple's license

If you got Threshold from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

Limits

The app is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Scrolling Is Evil LLC is not liable for injury, property damage, or other loss that comes from handling or walking a dog, including during a practice from the app.

Changes

If these terms change, the new text is posted at this address with a new date. Using the app after that means you accept the new terms.
