Who we are

Threshold is made by Scrolling Is Evil LLC. Questions go to support@scrollingisevil.com.

What the app keeps on your phone

• Which practices you finished, when, and the check you picked for each one (still easy, add distance, or went over threshold)
• Notes you type after a practice
• Your answers to the safety questions (before week 1, at the end of each week, or when you pause practice yourself), when a pause started and ended, and the name you typed for who saw your dog before you resumed
• Whether a vet has examined your dog in the past year, as you answered it
• At the end of each week, what you picked next (move on, repeat, or step back)
• Your dog's name, if you enter one
• What brought you to the app (a lunge, a scary walk, or both), if you pick one
• An email address, if you type one in More. It stays on the phone. We do not receive it and do not email you.
• A random ID and a six-character invite code that the app makes the first time it opens

All of this sits in one file in the app's own storage. There is no account and no Threshold server that receives it. If your phone backs up apps to iCloud or Google, that backup can include this file. Apple or Google holds that backup under their own terms, and we cannot read it.

What leaves your phone

Nothing leaves unless you do one of these things:

• Share. Share invite, Share this week's count, and Export notes open your phone's share sheet. The text goes only to the app or person you pick. An invite has a short message and a link to scrollingisevil.com with your invite code, and never your notes. An export includes your notes and your end-of-week answers.
• Buy or restore a plan. See Purchases below.
• Tap a link. Privacy, Terms, Support, and Manage subscription open your browser, the App Store, or Google Play. The support email opens your mail app.

The app has no analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising SDK, and it does not read an advertising identifier.

Purchases

Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) takes payment. We never see your card or your store account details.

The app uses RevenueCat to check whether a plan is active. When billing is on, the app sends RevenueCat the random ID from your phone and the store's record of the purchase. RevenueCat also receives the technical details that come with any network request, such as IP address, device model, operating system and app version, and store country. RevenueCat never receives your notes, your dog's name, or the email you typed. RevenueCat's own policy is at revenuecat.com/privacy.

This website

Cloudflare hosts scrollingisevil.com. When you open an invite link or this page, Cloudflare handles the request (IP address, browser, page) to serve the page and protect the site. The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies. There are no ad trackers on these pages.

What we do not do

We do not sell or share personal data. There are no ads in the app. We do not use your notes or your dog's details for anything, since they never reach us.

Children

Threshold is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think we have, email us and we will delete what we hold.

Deleting your data

More → Export notes makes a copy first, if you want one. More → Delete local data removes progress, notes, the dog's name, and the email from the phone. Deleting the app does the same. Neither one cancels a subscription. Cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.

To ask us to delete the purchase record RevenueCat holds, email support@scrollingisevil.com with the purchase date and the order number from Apple's or Google's receipt email.

If this policy changes, the new text is posted at this address with a new date.
