Write to support@scrollingisevil.com. Include your phone model, the app version (shown in Settings), and a screenshot of the Compass quality screen if the heading looks wrong. There is no account and no ticket system.
Heading looks wrong
Phone compasses drift near metal, speakers, car doors and cases with magnets. Move away from them and sweep the phone in a figure-8 so all three axes turn. On iPhone, finish the compass calibration panel if it appears. Earth’s field is usually 25 to 65 µT; Compass quality shows yours.
Headings are magnetic north. Field HUD does not apply declination yet, so a map bearing can differ by your local declination.
Field HUD is not a survey instrument. Readings are approximate field notes.
No coordinates on captures
Location is off for Field HUD. Tap Use location in the HUD, or turn location on for the app in the phone’s Settings. Captures without coordinates stay in the CSV and are left out of the GPX.
Getting captures off the phone
Captures → Export CSV or Export GPX, or open a capture and tap Share photo. On iPhone, Save Image in that share sheet puts the photo in Photos. Captures are not synced anywhere, so export before you delete the app.
