Who we are

Delay Card is made by Scrolling Is Evil LLC. Questions: support@scrollingisevil.com.

What the phone stores

Your cards: each card’s name, venue, notes and dates, and each measurement row (label, notes, delay in milliseconds, polarity, test signal, temperature, match quality, and the time you measured). They are saved in one file in the app’s own storage. There is no account.

If your phone backs up apps to iCloud or Google, that backup can include your cards. Apple or Google holds it under their own terms, and we cannot read it.

The microphone

A live measurement plays a test signal through the speaker and records a short sample with the microphone. The app analyzes that sample on the phone to find delay and polarity. The recording sits in a temporary file until the next measurement replaces it or the phone clears temporary files. It is never uploaded and never goes into an export.

Demo capture does not use the microphone.

What leaves the phone

Your cards and recordings leave the phone only when you send them. Share PDF, Share CSV and Tell a tech open your phone’s share sheet, and the file or text goes only where you pick. The privacy and support links open your browser or mail app.

When the app opens, it checks with RevenueCat whether you own Delay Card Pro, using an anonymous app user ID and, if you bought Pro, the store’s record of that purchase. RevenueCat also receives the network details any request carries, such as IP address, operating system version and app version. Your cards and recordings are not sent.

RevenueCat’s dashboard shows us purchase counts and revenue from those records. Beyond that, the app has no analytics, crash reporting, ads or advertising identifier. On Android, the app holds network access and Google Play billing for the Pro purchase, and Android grants both at install without asking.

Purchases

Delay Card Pro is a one-time purchase charged by Apple or Google. There is no subscription. We never see your payment card or store account details.

Kids

Delay Card is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think we have, email us and we will delete what we hold.

Deleting data

Delete card, under Edit card, removes a card from the phone. Uninstalling the app removes every card. There is no server copy of your cards.

A purchase stays on your store account and comes back with Restore purchase. To ask us to delete the purchase record RevenueCat holds, email us with the purchase date and the order number from your store receipt.

If this policy changes, the new text is posted at this address with a new date.
