Who we are

BuJo Journal is made by Scrolling Is Evil LLC. Questions: support@scrollingisevil.com.

What the phone stores

Your pages: ink strokes, typed text, sticky notes, stickers and photos you placed, and their dates. Also your sticker library, templates and toolbar placement. Photos you add are copied into the app’s own storage. There is no account.

If your phone backs up apps to iCloud or Google, that backup can include your journal. Apple or Google holds it under their own terms, and we cannot read it.

Photos

When you add a photo or sticker, you pick it from your photo library or files and BuJo copies it into the app. The app does not use the camera, microphone or location.

What leaves the phone

Nothing, unless you share it. Share image and Share PDF turn one page into a file and open your phone’s share sheet, and the file goes only where you pick. The support and privacy links in About open your mail app or browser.

The app has no network code, analytics, crash reporting, ads or advertising identifier.

Purchases

BuJo Journal has no in-app purchases.

Kids

BuJo Journal is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think we have, email us and we will delete what we hold.

Deleting data

Uninstalling the app removes the journal and every photo it copied. There is no server copy to delete.

If this policy changes, the new text is posted at this address with a new date.
