Privacy Policy — 24 Hours
Last updated: 5 June 2026
Summary. 24 Hours is private by default. The app stores your
goals, timers, history, and preferences locally on your device unless you enable
optional Google Drive backup. It uses no advertising or analytics SDKs and does
not send your goal or timer data to the developer.
Network-based features are limited to the optional one-time “24 Hours
Supporter” purchase and optional Google Drive backup. Purchase processing and
entitlement validation are handled by Google Play / Apple and RevenueCat. Google
Drive backup uses Google Sign-In and stores a private backup file in the user’s
Google Drive app-data folder.
What data the app stores
The app stores the following on your device only, using the
operating system’s standard local storage (shared_preferences): the
goals you create (name, icon, color, allocated time, active weekdays, tags); the
running/remaining time for each goal; up to 90 days of daily history; and your
theme and app preferences. This goal, timer, history, and preference information
never leaves your device unless you enable optional Google Drive backup and is
not accessible to the developer.
What data we collect
The developer does not collect your goal, timer, history, preference,
contact, location, health, or device media data. There is no account system,
analytics SDK, advertising SDK, crash-reporting service, or developer-operated
backend for app content.
If you use or restore the optional Supporter purchase, purchase history and
entitlement information is processed by RevenueCat to validate the purchase,
prevent fraud, restore access, and show aggregate purchase analytics to the
developer. 24 Hours does not send RevenueCat your name, email address, goals,
timers, or history, and the app does not use a custom user account identifier or
advertising identifier.
If you enable optional Google Drive backup, the app uses Google Sign-In to get
permission for Google Drive app-data storage. The backup contains your 24 Hours
goals, timers, history, and backup preferences. It is stored in your Google
Drive account’s hidden app-data folder and is used only for backup and restore.
The developer does not receive or operate a copy of this backup.
Purchases
24 Hours offers an optional one-time in-app purchase, “24 Hours Supporter.”
Purchases are processed by the platform’s billing service (Google Play Billing
or the Apple App Store) and validated through RevenueCat. The app does not
receive or store your name, payment card, or billing details. The app stores
whether Supporter is unlocked locally so it can keep the feature available after
purchase.
Permissions
The app does not request access to your contacts, location, camera,
microphone, photos, or other sensitive device data. If you enable Google Drive
backup, the app requests Google account sign-in and Google Drive app-data
permission.
Data sharing
Goal, timer, history, and preference data is not shared with the developer.
Purchase history and entitlement data is processed by RevenueCat as a service
provider for the optional Supporter purchase. Optional Google Drive backup is
stored in the user’s Google Drive app-data folder for backup and restore.
Data retention and deletion
Because app content is stored locally, you are in full control of it. You can
delete individual goals and history within the app. Uninstalling the app removes
its local data from your device.
Purchase records are retained by Google Play / Apple and RevenueCat as needed
to process purchases, restore access, prevent fraud, and meet legal or
operational requirements. Google Drive backups remain in the user’s Google
account until the user deletes them or revokes app access. Contact support if
you want help requesting deletion of RevenueCat-held purchase records.
Children’s privacy
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The
optional Supporter purchase is handled by Google Play / Apple and RevenueCat.
Changes to this policy
If the app’s data practices ever change, this policy will be updated and the
“Last updated” date above will change.
