Who we are
Men’s Success Journal is made by Scrolling Is Evil LLC. Questions: [email protected].
What the phone stores
Journal entries, drafts, prompts, goals, reminder settings, optional life-context answers (partner, kids, leading people, training), and any backup files you keep in the app stay in local storage on your phone. There is no account sign-in.
What leaves the phone
Journal writing does not leave the device for a Scrolling Is Evil server. There is no cloud sync and no analytics SDK in this version.
Daily reminders are scheduled with the operating system’s local notifications.
If you export, share, or restore a backup, you choose the destination through the system share sheet or file picker. We do not receive that file unless you email it to support.
If you pick a photo from your library while importing a backup or attaching a file, that file stays on this phone.
Purchases
The optional one-time Supporter unlock is charged by Apple or Google. RevenueCat sees the store account data needed to charge and restore that unlock. Journal text is not sent to RevenueCat.
What we do not do
We do not sell personal data. We do not use journal content for ads. There is no advertising identifier in this version.
Kids
Men’s Success Journal is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think we have, email us and we will delete what we hold.
Deleting data
Use Settings to export Markdown or CSV, or to make a backup, if you want a copy. Use Settings to delete all journal data on this phone. Uninstalling the app also removes local data unless you kept a backup file elsewhere. A Supporter purchase stays on the store account until you restore it.
If this policy changes, the new text is posted at this URL with a new date.
