Low Back Pain Coach

Back-extension progression for a stronger lower back — guided by your own pain trend.

Low Back Pain Coach

A calmer way to rebuild a strong back

Low Back Pain Coach helps people with long-term, chronic low back pain slowly rebuild strength using a
single proven movement: the back extension. Instead of guessing, you follow a clear four-stage
progression — isometric holds, partial reps, full reps, then weighted reps — and let your own
next-day pain decide when to advance, hold steady, or ease off.

Features

  • Guided four-stage program with plain-language form tips for each stage.
  • Pain tracking on a simple 1–10 scale, compared against your personal baseline.
  • Smart daily guidance that reacts to your recent pain logs.
  • Workout logging with reps, range of motion, hold time, weight, and a rest timer.
  • Progress charts for pain and training volume over time.
  • Achievements to keep you consistent.
  • Private by design — your logs stay on your device.

Low Back Pain Coach Supporter

The full program is free. An optional one-time Supporter unlock adds longer progress
charts (3-month, 6-month, all-time), full pain history, data backup & export, and accent
color themes. Supporter is a one-time purchase — not a subscription.

numbness, leg weakness, fever, recent trauma, or rapidly worsening pain, stop and talk to a

Summary

Low Back Pain Coach is designed so your workout logs, pain logs, and related notes stay on your device by default. We do not operate a user database for that information. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, and we use RevenueCat to validate entitlements and unlock Low Back Pain Coach Supporter. Optional reminders are scheduled locally on your device. If you use backup or export features, you choose where files go. If you enable Google Drive automatic backup, the app stores a backup file in your Google Drive app data storage for this app and may keep the selected Google account email locally so it can show backup status.

Information stored on your device

The app uses on-device storage to run features, including pain tracking entries, workout logs, progression stage, baseline pain values, onboarding state, achievements, preferences, Supporter unlock status, and optional reminder settings. Pain logs may include dates, self-reported pain levels, and notes you enter. Workout logs may include dates, reps, hold duration, optional weight, range of motion, rest timing, and related training details.

Uninstalling the app or using in-app reset tools may delete some or all local app data according to your device and the app’s behavior. Supporter purchase records are tied to your Apple ID or Google account through the app stores.

Purchases and Supporter status

Low Back Pain Coach Supporter is offered as a one-time, non-subscription purchase unless the store listing clearly says otherwise. Apple or Google processes payment and provides purchase receipts according to their policies. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases, manage entitlements, and help with restore purchases. RevenueCat may process technical identifiers, purchase transaction information, and device/app metadata needed for entitlement handling and support. We do not need your pain or workout history to process a purchase.

Optional backups and exports

If you use export or backup features, the app creates a file on your device and may open the system share sheet. Where that file goes, such as email, files, cloud storage, or another person, is your choice. We do not receive that export unless you deliberately send it to us.

If you enable Google Drive automatic backup, the app asks you to sign in with Google and grant access to Google Drive app data storage. The app uploads the backup file to Google Drive’s app-specific data area and can restore from that file when you choose. Google processes sign-in and Drive storage under its own policies.

Support

If you email us for support, we receive whatever you choose to include. That could include health-related information if you put it in the message. We use support correspondence to respond and improve the product, subject to applicable law.

What we do not do as shipped

  • We do not require an in-app account for core features.
  • We do not sync your pain logs or workout history to our own servers for normal app operation.
  • The app is not intended to include third-party advertising or behavioral ad tracking.

Health-related information

Pain levels and workout logs may be sensitive or health-related for you. They are stored locally in the app as described above unless you choose to export or back them up. The app is not a medical device and does not replace professional care.

Children’s privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in your region. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children as part of the app’s design. If you believe a child has provided information through support or another channel, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Your choices

Much of the app data is only on your device. You can delete local data with in-app tools where available, by uninstalling the app, or by managing files you exported. For purchase history, use Apple or Google account tools and Restore purchases in the app as appropriate. To ask about support email or RevenueCat/store processing, contact support@scrollingisevil.com.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page or another stable URL linked from the store listing. For privacy questions, contact Scrolling Is Evil LLC at support@scrollingisevil.com.
